The ability to avoid these fast moving hazards-on-wheels must say something about the accuracy of play by Capilano members. No wonder this hole was one of Bob Hope's favourites.
Aside from the peculiarity of the 14th, it's a truly beautiful hole with a splendid view back down the 13th fairway. You'll use all the skill you can muster, though, because its elevation change of 25 feet is deceiving.
This is Capilano's shortest hole, so make your club selection carefully. Pin placement is never really a problem, but the green is bunkered on both sides and has a steep left-side drop-off to the creek below.
For a more challenging shot, try playing from the upper blues. But don't forget to take oxygen with you!
