Ahh... Springtime on the 3rd green with the rhododendrons in full blazing glory. It's a kaleidoscope of grand scale as they show off their deep scarlets, soft pastel pinks, and rich red blossoms. They've become a theatre backdrop to this large and accommodating green.

But before you reach our carnival of colour, you'll have to traverse this testy par 5.

The 3rd tee stands before a blind hill stretching to a hidden, dog-leg right. Your drive must be straight and true because there's a nasty little bunker 235 yards out on the right side of the fairway.
